Shirts! -
Thu, 31 Jan 2008 03:55:20 GMT

Hey, guess what. I've still got some Mao shirts.

The kitty is not for sale.

I have the following sizes and quantities:

1 Small t-shirt
2 Medium t-shirts
4 Medium Babydoll t-shirts
2 Large Babydoll t-shirts
1 XL Babydoll t-shirt

Each is $18 plus shipping ($5 US $12 Int'l)

First come, first serve.

I doubt I'll ever get them reprinted.

Writhe and Shine at WGT '08??? -
Fri, 09 Nov 2007 04:32:21 GMT

This just posted by [info]dj_sprockets:

If I had known about Treffen in 1998 when I backpacked around Europe for three months, I certainly would have attended.
I have never been to Treffen.
I'm thinking about going in '08.
I have already requested a vendor's application which they are sending in December.
I mainly want to go so that I can possibly rid myself of the MANY boxes of Writhe and Shine comic books I have collecting dust and cat hair in my closet. It might also get me to get my ass in gear to make another book (or part of a book) by then.

My questions are:
1. Does anyone have any concise advice for a WGT first timer?
2. Any tricks on getting inexpensive plane tickets?
3. Any recommendations on places to stay (or not to stay)?
4. Has anyone ever vende ... ( more )

Mao shirts are still up for pre-sale.

If you want one or will eventually want one, GET ONE NOW.
They're not going to stick around like the other Writhe and Shine shirts. I have to make a bulk order and when those shirts are gone, it'll be a while before I can place another order.

Comic #247 & Mao pre-orders -
Mon, 02 Jul 2007 15:52:57 GMT

Writhe and Shine.com has been updated with Mao merchandise. It's only t-shirts and buttons right now (the stickers are giving us a headache).

We are taking PRE-ORDERS for Mao t-shirts and babydoll tees.

Convergence in Portland this weekend! Yeah!

Keeping up with all the drama?... Me neither!

I'll be spending all of my time in the vendor's room (free to the public; Grand Ballroom at the Hilton) at the Writhe and Shine table. (Hours are Fri. 12-6 Sat. and Sun. 10-6)

Book #1 "Lies, Rumors and Twisted Words" has been re-printed professionally and includes bonus material by Tanya Bjork, Tedd Walley and John Worsley!

There will also be die cut Über Comics stickers for sale:

Robert is selling about a quarter of my entire CD collection and a portion of my personal comic book collection so make sure you get to our table as soon as you can!

He'll also be making an appearance or two as a model for Dark Industry Clothing in the fashion shows!

Hope to see you there!

I'm still recovering from Saturday.
I may have to leave Achtung Records early today... nobody really buys things on Monday anyway.

Copied from [info]dj_sprockets' journal:

I need some help. I've been looking around on the internet for reference photos of the French Quarter, but most everything I find is crap.

Do any of you either:
1. Know of a site online that has nice photos of building exteriors in the FQ
2. Have a camera and can go around, take pictures and send them to me (digital or hard copy)
3. Have a stack of photos already that you can scan in and send to me

Again, I am particularly looking for pictures of building exteriors in the FQ with good details. Either from the street or from balconies. The less people in the picture the better. One or two is good for scale but I'll be using these for drawing reference in my comics. The shots I'm looking for are for typical builings... not the really famous ones.

Here are a couple ... ( more )
